The Your Smart Yard program is made possible through a partnership between Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, Los Angeles County Waterworks District 29, West Basin Municipal Water District, California Department of Water Resources, and Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.

LVMWD, Waterworks, and West Basin secured funding through a California Department of Water Resources Proposition 1 Round 2 Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Implementation Grant, which supports innovative water conservation and efficiency initiatives throughout the region.

Together with Yardzen, these partners combined state and local funding with a special customer design discount—making it easier and more affordable for homeowners to transform their landscapes into beautiful, water-smart yards.
